The smallest SUV with 4 wheel drive? Chevy Tracker?

I will be getting my first car soon and I really want a small 4 wheel drive car. I want something that will get me through the snow but won't cost me so much for gas. I want it to be small and I was looking at a 2000-2004 chevy tracker, but I was wondering if there are any other cars like them. I like the size and the look and they get good gas mileage and are 4 wheel drive. I also like Chevrolet 's . What are your opinions on a tracker and what other cars are like it?
