I have a 1994 chevrolet silverodo 3500 and it keeps shuting off on me while i'm driving, what's the problem?

i could be driving down the road and my truck will shut off on me but it will start right back up. and it seems like the longer i keep the truck running the more it gives me problems. Just need to know what the problem is and how can it be fixed.
