How do I get rid of the moisture in my car?

This is the first winter that it has been this cold since i bought my car. It is a 2006 grand prix. What i continue to notice on these frigid days is water continues to build and freeze on the inside of my windows. Is there any fixes for this? I never had issues like this with my 1991 lumina. I tried turning on the heat to melt it but it would just pool up into big drops on my window. When i tried wiping it it would smear and become frost.
