My 2006 Chevrolet Equinox's heater will start blowing cold air randomly, it is not low on coolant, any help?

have the thermostat checked .. it may be sticking open.. if you have a Temperature gauge . see if the temp drops every time the air get cool .. that points to a thermostat.
