Even after you pay $10-20 for a Chilton repair manual for that year and model car, you will still be money ahead from paying a shop to do it. The EGR valve is located on the intake manifold on the top of the engine. It has vacuum hose/s going to it. It is usually held on by 2 bolts. Sometimes these bolts are easy to get to. Others need to have special tools to reach them or need other parts moved out of the way. In any case, you can do this. An illustrated manual will make it easy for you to see how to do it.
